5 Steps to a successful estate sale

On average, the entire estate sale process will require 2 weeks. The first part of that process begins when a client reaches out to Frogpond Downsizing & Estate Sales with their need. Contact us when you are ready to get started. Then, consider these steps.

Step 1: What's your story? Typically, this is a conversation over the phone between the potential client and our team. We need to know who is the decision maker for the estate sale at this point. We want to know what you are looking for and what your total needs are. We also need to determine if we are a good fit to get through everything that needs to be done in the right amount of time.


Step 2: Let's meet. What is convenient for you and for our team? We'll set up a time to meet to discuss your needs and to view the property. At this point, we want to make sure you're comfortable moving forward.  


Step 3:  Prep and plan next. We'll need to make sure that all important papers, documents, and personal property that is not relevant to the sale gets packed away and removed from the property. We do an inventory check, take photos before, during, and after the sale, and meet any other agreements we make with you at this point.


Step 4: The sale occurs. We'll work with you throughout the estate sale process. Remember, we customize the experience to meet your needs and work hard to pull it off successfully!
